NUST Formula Student Team (NFST) is a student-based organization that holds an honorable position as Pakistan's leading Formula Student team, actively participating in Formula Student UK since 2012. The team earned a noteworthy achievement of being awarded the "Most Effective Communication Strategy" award in 2014. Furthermore, this year in FS UK 23 we secured top position in the LTS event and a 6th position in the cost and design event among 60+ international countries making us the most prestigious FS team of Pakistan. After successfully manufacturing 8 combustion vehicles in our university, we are embarking on a ground-breaking task of shifting towards hybrid vehicles. We are the first Pakistani Formula Student team to do this. The design of this vehicle cleared the concept class of FS UK 23 and we aim to make its debut in FS UK 24 as a fully functional hybrid vehicle.

NUST's globally accredited programmes and robust ecosystem for R&I have remarkably improved its global standing. This is manifest in the growing inclination amongst overseas students to join NUST for their tertiary education in UG and PG programmes.
